Design Consultancy
Talk to us about your project
Our approach to design consultancy is built on our commitment to outstanding customer service, which, for us, means starting with a total understanding of the customer’s requirements.
Both founders of Veltron Precision Ltd. have extensive knowledge of the medical-device industry and, in particular, have a proven track-record in the design and manufacture of medical jigs and fixtures, which means that we are particularly well-placed to offer design consultancy in this area.
Furthermore, all our CAD design is carried out in Solidworks, which is an industrial standard in the medical device industry.
We are, however, able to provide our expertise to other industries. Both Stefan Wujanicz and Lukasz Strycharski have a wide range of experience in CAD design and CAM programming and are familiar with all relevant standards and best design practices.
Both founders are also thoroughly versed in all aspects of special purpose machine design and manufacturing technology.
Most of our design consultancy work revolves around the debugging and improvement of existing designs. If customers have issues with the design of a special-purpose machine, jig or fixture, then we can work with them to come up with a new design which not only serves the intended purpose, but is optimized as far as possible for its intended use.
We work to design products which can be manufactured and assembled in a time-effective and cost-effective manner. This means not just aiming to create the simplest possible design, but also aiming to make our designs modular, multi-functional and multi-use. Our designs focus on improving machine efficiency in order to maximize output, which ultimately translates into improved profitability.
Even where existing designs are working to an acceptable standard, we can provide our expertise to see what improvements can be made so that a fundamentally-sound design offers an improved level of performance. For example, over recent years, ergonomics has become a huge concern in design and manufacture and an area in which existing designs can often be significantly improved. At the same time, we are equally happy to work with customers to turn an idea into a design suitable for rapid prototyping and real-world manufacturing processes.
